to the Almonte Potters' Guild
The Almonte Potters'
Guild is an innovative facility that enhances recreational activities
in the Mississippi Mills community. Headed by experienced instructors,
the 1000-plus square foot studio offers lessons at all levels for
adults, teens and children. Amateur and professional "mud-lovers"
can rent studio time year-round, while renowned and respected ceramic
artists will give weekend workshops.
The guild hosts a cadre
of skilled and experienced studio potters who exhibit and sell their
work at artisan and craft shows throughout the national capital
region.
The studio is located
in the centre of Almonte. It is equipped with a full suite of electrical
wheels, plenty of handbuilding space, three electric kilns, and
a slab-roller.
